LeaveSignalsBot
LeaveSignalsBot is an automated client run by Leave Your Agent Inc., the company behind Leave, the app where athletes keep their own deals and see public programs they could look into. It identifies itself on every request as LeaveSignalsBot/1.0 (+https://leaveyouragent.com/bot).
1. What it reads
At the moment the client reads nothing. Leave stopped its nightly reading of news feeds and other sites on October 21, 2026, and this page is updated before the client reads anything again.
2. What it never does
It never requests a page behind a login or a paywall. It never reads a site whose terms say automated access is not allowed. It never copies article text. It never presents itself as a browser. It makes one request at a time and waits between requests. Before it reads any website's pages again, it checks that site's robots.txt for a rule addressed to it and follows that rule.
3. Keeping it off a site
A site that would rather not be read by this client can say so in its robots.txt, and the client will stay away:
