Bradley NIL rules.

Bradley's NIL policy has athletes disclose deals in INFLCR within a week, with $500+ contracts sent before signing. Basketball revenue share went in-house in 2026.

The short answer. Bradley's posted NIL policy has athletes disclose "any and all" NIL activities and agreements in Bradley's INFLCR platform "within a week of the activity", with deals of $500 or more put in writing and given to Bradley before signing and before payment; NCAA rules add NIL Go reporting for outside deals of $600 or more. Illinois' NIL law covers private universities like Bradley. On 2026-06-17 Bradley said revenue-sharing support for men's and women's basketball is now managed in-house and that the Home of the Brave and Be Brave collectives "will no longer serve as the direct source of NIL funding" for its basketball players.

School NIL policy"Bradley University Athletics NIL Policy" (posted 2021-09-14, undated in its text), linked from Bradley's BUild NIL page. Pay must not be "in exchange of athletics performance", not an inducement to attend Bradley, "commensurate with market value", and "not provided by Bradley University, or any other entity whose main purpose includes supporting or benefitting the university or Bradley Athletics (e.g., The Bradley Fund, Braves Club, etc.)". NIL work is expected not to conflict with practice, competition or academic obligations. Bradley's "NIL 10 Things to Know" (2022-09-21) summarizes the same rules. The 2026-27 Student-Athlete Handbook (posted 2026-09-04) has no NIL sectionBradley Athletics, NIL Policy (2021) and 10 Things to Know (2022-09-21)
How deals are disclosedNCAA: third-party deals of $600 or more are reported to NIL Go within five business days (Bylaws 22.2.2, 22.2.2.2). Bradley's policy: athletes "must disclose any and all activities, and all associated agreements, using Bradley's INFLCR platform within a week of the activity", and pay of $500 or more "must be formalized in a written agreement and provided to Bradley University, along with the disclosure through INFLCR, before execution of the agreement and before compensation is provided". Banned categoriesIllinois law bars deals for gambling, sports betting, controlled substances, cannabis, tobacco or alcohol, electronic nicotine products, performance-enhancing supplements, adult entertainment, and anything reasonably considered inconsistent with the school's values or mission (110 ILCS 190/20(i)). Bradley's policy bars entities related to "tobacco, alcohol, illegal and illicit substances or activities, banned substances (e.g., performance enhancing drugs and supplements), sports wagering and gambling" and points to the state act "for an exhaustive list"Bradley Athletics, NIL Policy; /nil/college/illinois

Revenue sharingThe College Sports Commission lists Bradley University for 2026-27 and puts the cap at "approximately $21.58 million per school" (read 2026-10-23). Bradley's release of 2026-06-17 says "revenue-sharing support for Bradley Basketball will now be managed in-house, with all basketball-specific gifts made directly through Bradley Athletics to support NIL, revenue sharing and other program priorities". Collective or NIL groupBradley's 2026-06-17 release says that "the Home of the Brave and Be Brave collectives will no longer serve as the direct source of NIL funding for Bradley basketball student-athletes". Agents and representationBradley's policy: athletes "may secure representation (agent or lawyer) for NIL activities", representation may not extend to marketing athletic ability for a professional career, and athletes "must provide the written agreement to Bradley University within seven days of entering into such agreement". Illinois has no athlete agent registration (its agent act was repealed in 2017); its NIL law has agents comply with the federal Sports Agent Responsibility and Trust Act "to the extent required" and bars representation agreements that run past the athlete's participation (110 ILCS 190/20(a), 25)Bradley Athletics, NIL Policy; /nil/college/illinois

What is specific to Bradley

Bradley is a private university in Peoria that plays no football, and its NIL story in 2026 is about basketball. In June 2026 the department brought revenue-sharing support for men's and women's basketball in-house, saying the new route "provides a tax-deductible giving opportunity as permitted by law, something the collectives were not able to provide", and that the Home of the Brave and Be Brave collectives would no longer be the direct source of basketball NIL money. The athletic department's June 2026 letter draws the line in its own words: revenue sharing "allows institutions to directly share a portion of athletics generated revenue with student-athletes", while NIL is pay "from a third party", with larger deals "reviewed through a national clearinghouse". Bradley's written NIL rules predate that shift: the posted policy, linked from the BUild education program, still bars pay from Bradley or from groups whose main purpose is supporting Bradley Athletics, such as the Braves Club.

How Leave fits

In Leave, every deal thread carries a rules summary for the athlete's state and level, and keeps the contract, its dates and the disclosure deadline that applies. It is a summary, not a ruling; the school and the law decide. Leave is software, not an agent, and takes 0% of any deal. You decide, you send.

Questions about NIL at Bradley

Does Bradley pay its athletes?

Its 2026-06-18 letter says gifts may be designated to a sport program but not to a specific athlete. No totals are published.

What NIL collective works with Bradley basketball?

Bradley named two, Home of the Brave and Be Brave (which a February 2026 Bradley release called the women's basketball NIL collective). Bradley's policy says not without express written consent from the President or a designee before the activity; that covers Bradley names, logos and apparel with Bradley trademarks, and the same consent is needed to use Bradley facilities.
