Grambling State NIL rules.

Grambling State announced athlete revenue sharing from October 2025. Its NIL FAQ asks athletes to log deals in INFLCR; the UL System policy sets disclosure 7 days ahead.

The short answer. Grambling State President Martin Lemelle Jr. wrote on 2025-09-10: "Beginning in October 2025, Grambling will launch a revenue-sharing program for eligible student-athlete awards", in alignment with SWAC, University of Louisiana System and NCAA policies; Grambling has published no later statement confirming the launch, and the College Sports Commission lists Grambling State for 2026-27. NIL deals are covered by two published documents of different dates: Grambling's athletics NIL FAQ (address dated 2022-02-08), which has athletes log deals in the INFLCR app before signing, and the University of Louisiana System's NIL policy IA-V.3 (effective 2025-04-24), which requires disclosure of deals of $600 or more seven days before they take effect. NIL Go reporting applies too.

What is specific to Grambling State

Grambling State tied revenue sharing to a public review of its athletics finances. President Lemelle's statement of 2025-09-10 reports an independent operational review by College Sports Solutions, which, based on NCAA and FY24 financial data, found Grambling Athletics "Generated $5.8 million in total revenue" and "Produced $3.4 million in football revenue, leading the SWAC". In the same statement Grambling announced its first revenue-sharing program to begin in October 2025, with information sessions on eligibility, contracts, financial literacy and academic expectations, and said the revenue-sharing awards are linked to support services: "These services are directly tied to eligibility for revenue-sharing". The fundraising plan behind it has three pillars, TiGerNIL, TiGerNutrition and TiGersBuild. A university statement of 2026-05-12 on its FY2025 NCAA agreed-upon procedures review reported $9.2 million in athletics operating revenue and $14.3 million in operating expenses and listed zero-based budgeting among the changes under way; it does not give a revenue-sharing figure. On 2026-03-26 Grambling State Athletics reported that Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Trayvean Scott testified before the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee with "cautious support" for the proposed SCORE Act. On the technology side, a Teamworks and INFLCR release of 2021-09-10 names Grambling Teamworks' third department-wide partner from the SWAC, with athletes handling "NIL reporting, and compliance through a centralized portal on their mobile phones" for 340 athletes in 15 sports.

How Leave fits

In Leave, every deal thread carries a rules summary for the athlete's state and level, and keeps the contract, its dates and the disclosure deadline that applies. It is a summary, not a ruling; the school and the law decide. Leave is software, not an agent, and takes 0% of any deal. You decide, you send.
