What is specific to Mississippi Valley State

Mississippi Valley State's NIL program, as it has described it, is built on outside platforms rather than a written policy. MVSU announced on 2022-08-24 that partnering with NOCAP Sports was its "first foray into the Name, Image, and Likeness game", effective for the fall 2022 semester; Jarrad Ratliff, then its Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance, said NOCAP would let athletes brand themselves and build relationships with companies and, "Most importantly, finding new ways to empower our female athletes." On 2024-08-30 MVSU added Influxer, which makes co-branded apparel with players' names and numbers, gives each athlete a personal web store, handles fulfillment and, per the release, provides "education and training in marketing, entrepreneurship, and personal branding." The rules MVSU does post are older NCAA-era guidance for boosters, including that an athlete employed during the academic year registers the job with the Compliance Office, and its 2025-26 orientation tells athletes: "Never miss a class due to practice, training or promotional appearances. Competition is the only permissible reason to miss a class."

How Leave fits

In Leave, every deal thread carries a rules summary for the athlete's state and level, and keeps the contract, its dates and the disclosure deadline that applies. It is a summary, not a ruling; the school and the law decide. Leave is software, not an agent, and takes 0% of any deal. You decide, you send.
