What is specific to Alabama A&M

Alabama A&M is a public HBCU in Huntsville and, in its own words, "Huntsville's only Division I program". It posted its NIL policy on 2021-07-14 and said it was "among the first in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC)" to announce one. That policy has outlasted the Alabama statute it was written under: the state repealed its NIL law in 2022, so AAMU's 2021 rules, the NCAA's NIL Go reporting and the College Sports Commission are what apply now. The policy speaks to need-based aid, noting NIL pay "could have an impact on their financial aid, especially for those receiving Pell Grants", and its agent section says any agent "must" register with AAMU's compliance office. In 2025 AAMU launched The Hill Exchange, opting every athlete into a school-branded NIL directory with a built-in payment tool and a reporting form that goes to the school, and its 2026 football season ticket packages each list a "Bulldog Collective Contribution Included".

How Leave fits

In Leave, every deal thread carries a rules summary for the athlete's state and level, and keeps the contract, its dates and the disclosure deadline that applies. It is a summary, not a ruling; the school and the law decide. Leave is software, not an agent, and takes 0% of any deal. You decide, you send.
