Robert Morris NIL rules.

Robert Morris says it consolidated third-party collective efforts, RoMo Rise included, into a university fund in March 2026. Its 2021 policy requires 7-day disclosure.

The short answer. Robert Morris University, a private university in Moon Township near Pittsburgh, launched the Competitive Success Fund on 2026-03-26 as "a new opportunity created in response to the House v. NCAA settlement", aimed at its men's and women's basketball programs. The release lists "Consolidating previous third-party NIL efforts into a centralized, university-governed fund", and its FAQ says "Previous third-party collective efforts have been consolidated into this fund", answering a question about RoMo Rise. Its 2021 NIL policy requires athletes to disclose a proposed deal at least 7 days before signing, and third-party deals of $600 or more also go to NIL Go within five business days (NCAA Bylaws 22.2.2, 22.2.2.2). Pennsylvania's NIL law covers private colleges chartered in the state (/nil/college/pennsylvania).

What is specific to Robert Morris

Robert Morris describes its Competitive Success Fund, announced 2026-03-26, as "the primary vehicle for donor-led initiatives that keep RMU's programs competitive at the national level"; the fund is "integrated into the RMU Athletics development structure", donors may designate gifts to men's or women's basketball, and "Previous third-party collective efforts have been consolidated into this fund", RoMo Rise among them, according to the release's FAQ. The same release lists an "Athlete Partnership" avenue for businesses: "We can connect you directly to a student-athlete to engage in meaningful, third-party NIL opportunities, such as commercial endorsements." RMU's Student-Athlete Handbook (effective 2025-08-01) says "the university cannot arrange NIL deals for student-athletes." Outside the fund, RMU's NIL page points athletes to four tools: EmpwrU for education, the Bobby Mo Exchange registry, Influxer merchandise and JABA's AI pitching and contract-tracking platform. RMU is a private school. Its handbook says RMU "is a member of the Horizon League and also competes in the Northeast Conference (football, men's lacrosse)", with football in the Football Championship Subdivision, and in other conferences for women's lacrosse, hockey and rowing.

How Leave fits

In Leave, every deal thread carries a rules summary for the athlete's state and level, and keeps the contract, its dates and the disclosure deadline that applies. It is a summary, not a ruling; the school and the law decide. Leave is software, not an agent, and takes 0% of any deal. You decide, you send.
