App State NIL rules.

App State is in revenue sharing for 2026-27. Its NIL Go page sets the five-business-day rule; its posted 2022 policy also asks for INFLCR disclosure before signing.

The short answer. The College Sports Commission lists Appalachian State as a revenue-sharing school for 2026-27, with a cap of about $21.58 million per school; App State has not published its own figure. The NIL policy posted on its athletics site is dated "Last updated 10/11/2022" and rests on North Carolina Executive Order 223, which the Governor rescinded on 2024-03-08. That policy asks athletes to disclose a deal in the INFLCR app "seven (7) business days before the contract execution". App State's newer House Settlement Information page says "Any new deals must be reported within 5 business days of execution of the NIL contract" at NILGo.com, and does not mention the INFLCR step.

What is specific to App State

App State's written NIL rules are older than the law they cite. The policy on its athletics site was last updated on 2022-10-11 and opens with Governor Cooper's Executive Order 223, which Executive Order 306 rescinded on 2024-03-08. It still sets an App State step ahead of signing: disclosure in the INFLCR app seven business days before a contract is executed, with approval, and its own banned list, including alcohol for athletes under 21. The department has since put NIL and revenue sharing under one executive: in May 2025 it hired Brittney Whiteside, formerly of Altius Sports Partners, as Chief Strategy Officer to "lead App State's student-athlete NIL and revenue sharing operations". Her name is the NIL contact on App State's House Settlement Information page, which describes NIL Go reporting within five business days but not the older INFLCR approval step.

How Leave fits

In Leave, every deal thread carries a rules summary for the athlete's state and level, and keeps the contract, its dates and the disclosure deadline that applies. It is a summary, not a ruling; the school and the law decide. Leave is software, not an agent, and takes 0% of any deal. You decide, you send.
