What is specific to Bethune-Cookman
Bethune-Cookman signed on with athlete branding software before NIL. In an April 2019 release on B-CU's athletics site, INFLCR's founder called B-CU "our first Historically Black College & University (HBCU) client, as well as our first client from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference and the Football Championship Subdivision", for a platform that delivers team photos and video to athletes' phones to share on their own social accounts; B-CU announced a five-year extension in October 2020, and B-CU Athletics marked its first day in the SWAC in a release of 2021-07-02. In the NIL era its athletics department has announced two outside arrangements rather than a written policy: Influxer co-branded merchandise (2024-07-22), with Influxer providing "education and training on marketing, entrepreneurship, and personal branding", and the Hail Maroon & Gold Collective run with Student Athlete NIL (2024-08-01), with "introductory sessions scheduled for all Bethune-Cookman student-athletes". No university-level NIL policy was found on the private university's own site.
How Leave fits
In Leave, every deal thread carries a rules summary for the athlete's state and level, and keeps the contract, its dates and the disclosure deadline that applies. It is a summary, not a ruling; the school and the law decide. Leave is software, not an agent, and takes 0% of any deal. You decide, you send.
